Having spent some time struggling with Spanish TV, I realise now that the Chanel 9 Neus sketches from The Fast Show were a work of genius. Everything is spot on from the sudden mutterings of English language to the short sports reader and tacky advert during the show.

The Fast Show – Jazz Club introducing The James Nance Quartet

The Fast Show, known as Brilliant in the US, ran for three series from 1994 to 1997.

Jazz Club was greeeeaat! I love this particularly sketch as I remember my friend James Taylor asking if he thought they were taking the piss out of him and his band, The James Taylor Quartet. James plays hammond organ.

The sketch introduces The James Nance Quartet, with James Nance on hammond organ. What do you think?
